Laurie started with Appelman Financial in September 2010. She graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in business administration and a concentration in accounting. Laurie served as the Tax Collector for Rush Township and the Danville Area School District for 16 years. Prior to that, she was a Bookkeeper/Office Assistant for six years at a local advertising firm.
